Class Descriptions

Prana Flow Yoga®
moves through gentle (Basic) or vigorous (Active) breath guided flowing asana sequences with a focus on postural and energetic alignment and nature imagery.  The sequences integrate standing, balancing, back bending, forward bending, twisting and joint opening (shoulder, hip, spine) asanas while strengthening, limbering, releasing tension, and centering body and mind.  A chair class is oferred to those with selected special conditions and/or age related physical functional limitations.

Pilates Mat is a pilates based fitness class with a focus on strengthening and lengthening key muscles of the pelvis, ribcage, shoulder girdle, spine, back and abdominals.  Its benefits include a healthier back, stronger pelvic floor, increased bone density, greater postural awareness, better breathing, a stronger core and greater flexibility.

Indoor Cycling focuses on cardio vascular health and enhanced mental well being.  Benefits may include increasing lung capacity, muscular strength,flexibility, and aerobic/anaerobic systems, while decreasing blood pressure, stress and resting heart rate.

Hiking With Dogs is an outdoor hiking experience for humans and their dogs.  Enjoy scenic views, meadows, woodlands, rivers and hayfields while discussing important topics such as outdoor ethics ("leave no trace principles") dog first aid and CPR and wilderness first aid.  Once registered you will receive a preparation list  of apropriate items and attire to keep you and your dogs(s) comfortable, dry, safe, hydrated and fueled on a hike.
