Megan, a multi-faceted fitness and wellness professional since 1997, holds numerous certifications in personal training, group fitness, speciality formats (yoga, pilates, spinning), and wilderness safety and leadership. She first experienced the healing, present moment and inspiring qualities of energetic body alignment and nature imagery while studying yoga and modern dance in college. Through this experience she realized that as long as she practiced yoga and dance, she remained energetic and injury and stress free while competing on the collegiate varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams. These yoga concepts became the underlying principles in her business, Peaceful Way Wellness, which integrates the natural, outdoor world into yoga, pilates, hiking and cycling practices. Megan believes incorporating nature, through internally inspired visualizations, deepens the students' present moment time experience through engaging all of the senses. This also accesses healing, energy, inherent creativity and inspiration. Her intentions are to educate, inspire and support her students as they grow toward optimal wellness in body, mind and spirit.
